I have been using a projector instead of a television for many years. The pleasure works as the bulbs last 18 months at a lower level compared to the one we had which lasted 4 years in a row. A real fighter, this one. The bulb burned out after 3 months. I'm not sure why this happened, but this is by far the shortest lifespan of any projector lamp I've purchased (which worked when it arrived). Order a replacement from another seller now but think of yourself. forewarned this could happen to you.
