Not a 5 since condensation line short and had a leak at 2 factory joints

Everything was good except condensation line was short. Fortunately, the Blueridge (Alpine (same as Mr Heater)) came with some condensation line so that I could put them together. Then, the high pressure line, mating to the inside unit, leaked. Had to buy a nitrogen tank and regulator, but could not find the leak ($130). Hired a HVAC contractor and he had to re-flare the line, and refill the refrigerant ($120).

Good quality lineset and extras that are needed for Mini-split

Ordered this lineset for a Gree Sapphire mini. Couldn't use the included wire set because Gree asks for 14 gage and the kit is 16 gage. Not a big deal, but took a trip to local lumber yard to get 12 gage (since they didn't have 14 either). The drain line is a perfect fit for joining to my unit, and really the main reason I chose this kit over others. Lines are plenty long for 16' and of good quality flares. Pulled a vacuum first time and didn't leak a bit for 14 hours (not necessary, but…

  • The pipe set may not be suitable for those living in areas with extreme weather conditions, as the copper material may expand or contract and cause damage to the HVAC system

Wire short & bad flares

I had to re flare 3 of the 4 so I did all four which were scratched, bent and cracked. The control wire is still too short even though I cut off 6" for the flares. I still had to add 2 feet and splice the wire to make the connections.

I received more footage than listed! ;-)

I got installed a couple of weeks ago. Product was fine. I received more footage (25ft) than listed (16ft) so I cut a little more than planned. Bundle is pretty basic but ok for the price.
