    The device is different from the one in the photo

    The device I received does not have a numeric keypad. The back of the device states that it is KG-UV6D for AMAZON. The device does not match the image on the product page or the packaging it came in. returned it

    Easy to program, suitable for radio communication

    Love it. It was easy to program, easy to use, perfect size. The battery drains quickly, but! in his defense it was used MUCH more often than usual. I'm still learning all the abbreviations but so far I'm really liking this radio. I also have a Baofeng UV82L radio. I like it better

    All of our VFDs use these radios and have problems with them. Just added a longer whip. Must buy.

    This radio is still around and used every day. I added a long whip because we are in Ruaul territory. Charged 12 hours ago and with VFD in SE everything is fine. and all of our LDPE firefighters use these. We haven't had any problems with it since I bought this 2 years ago.

    Great product for the price

    This is a great radio for the price I paid here at Revain. This is my first amateur radio station and I think it's a pretty good radio for beginners. If I were to buy my first radio again I would settle for this little guy. Be warned - programming this radio is not easy with the unit itself, and the instruction manual was less than helpful (less than useless, if that is possible). This is clearly a machine translation from Chinese and gives no indication of what each function/setting is - just…

    Wouxun Laptop KG-UV6D V2

    I've been playing around with Chinese laptops for a while now and I have to admit that 'play' is absolutely the most apt term, while Baofengs and Quanshengs are definitely inexpensive 'entry level' radios for new hams, and cheap enough you could afford three or four in your bug bag, there was no question they wouldn't replace my front line portables (which I won't name here because I didn't buy them). by Revain; in fact, when I bought it, I wasn't sure if Revain even existed, it's that old)…

    Be careful - this radio does not have 2.5kHz steps

    A local radio amateur recommended this radio to me, but it doesn't have a 2.5kHz step (only a 5kHz step) huh the frequency greatly reduced number of channels I can fix.

    Daily use of security for 5.5 years still works great.

    August 2012 - December 8th 2018 I have two of these. I switch back and forth when the battery is low. 6 years later The battery still lasts about 3 days between charges. My buttons are starting to wear a bit from rubbing against my coat, but they are still legible.     Great radio at a great price

    I've had this radio for a few months now. I don't understand the "difficult to program/poor management" comments. I had no problems programming from the keyboard. It works pretty much like my much more expensive Yaesu. In just a few minutes I closed the menu and connected the repeaters. I ended up getting the software and cable to make it faster and probably a must have for people like me who have a long list of frequencies they use. I have never bought a radio with software and cable unless it
