There are 4 magnets on the lid. Unfortunately, with a 1km/h wind, you can't get the skirts tucked into the door to stay when the door closes. I've tried several brands and designs of these and unfortunately can't find any that hold up. As a result, my truck had more snow than anywhere else, and I was covered in snow after 10 minutes of playing. Thanks Amazon for the refund :)

I have a 2009 BMW X5 that I bought this umbrella for and it doesn't fit because the hood isn't metal and the magnets are useless. Why show a photo of a red BMW with this shade? I was offered a refund which I think is pretty good but will keep this shade. I increased the star rating to 4 due to concerned customer service wanting to fix things.

Delivery was great. Ordered and received the case on time. There is one thing I would like to do differently. A few more magnets on the underside of the lid. I'm in Colorado and we have crazy winds. Because of those crazy winds, the lid was partially lifted and one of the magnets scratched the hood. This product is too thin. It's like a piece of paper. It's so light that a slight breeze would lift it out of the car. I bought it based on the reviews but trust me it won't last long on your car. Magnets are a joke. The tiny wisp picks it up very quickly and the magnet can't do anything about it. It's a shame that the people who wrote the reviews because they got the product for free gave this junk 5 stars and if you count them you'll see that there are a lot of them in the review list. I rarely write reviews and this will be brief. So far I've used the snowpack on two blizzards. It worked very well for both of them. I obviously don't have enough time to discuss durability. Product fits my 2015 Ford C-Max Hybrid very well. I had no problem positioning the part on the car even in windy conditions as all I had to do was use magnets to hold everything in place while I adjusted it. The product also had extra large flaps on the sides that easily tucked into my doors leaving a nice extra foot of fabric on each side. The only issue I had was that the magnets are only strong on one side so I had to flip them while they were in their cloth cases. It wasn't difficult at all
