Didn't know it existed.

I lost two chassis batteries in my motorhome because the charger was disconnected and the batteries were under-discharged. If the domestic batteries are now charged, this automatically charges the bus. Both sets also have low voltage disconnect switches.

Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Some defects

Never worked best in sun and wind

Product arrived on time, device does not work, no light, no battery charging. Ordered a replacement on time, exactly the same problem. I checked the class A wiring and everything was fine. I returned the device for a refund and bought a Trik L Start which worked straight away with just three wires like the Xantrex.

Pros
  • Robust workmanship
Cons
  • Negative impression

Easy to install and works as expected

This was easy to install and solved my problem with chassis batteries not staying charged. integrates with the home charging system and has been tested to turn on only after charging, which is perfect when we're not out and about. Thanks UPDATE: 2/20/21 - this unit still charges my two RV starter batteries and still works as expected with no issues.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Minor issues

I have a 2016 Winnebago View, it is based on a Mercedes 3500 Sprinter. I set this up to keep the chassis battery charged when our RV is in storage. When stored it is connected to shore power so the house and chassis batteries can be recharged. It's a great little addition to keep everything fully charged, ready for your next adventure.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Great battery maintenance product

Great product to keep your chassis batteries charged. The only negative I see is the built-in glass fuse holder and the fuses that come with the charger for installation. I consider them obsolete and increasingly difficult to find, so I replaced the fuse holder with a spatula fuse holder. Other than that, it works great, plugs in easily, and keeps my battery on my chassis.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

I'm not sure if that ever worked.

Bought on June 18 and finally abandoned. The green light never came on, but I was able to check the voltage on the starter battery side when connected to the house batteries and ground. My batteries died due to a small parasitic discharge and I had to replace them at $180 each. I struggled with trying to keep my batteries charged and finally settled on a separate charger when parked. So does this charger work? I have no idea as it will never support my batteries and the green light showing 'on'

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are doubts

Product arrived on time and the packaging was good. I need this product for my RV, I have a class A gas bus. Installation was pretty easy. The instructions call for this device to be installed in a dry location near the Coach batteries and chassis. Unfortunately, both batteries are exposed to street moisture in open compartments. I called Xantrex Support and spoke to them about my problem. They recommended that I place the Echo on a plank next to my left foot and run cables through the firewall

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Interchangeability
