Tool worked fine at 8700k. It took me a sweet time to twist it around the 'break point'. A+ This is proof that the tolerances required for this are not so critical that the CNC is needed.

The Delid set came without an Allen key and had obvious signs of wear (scratches on the outside and a hex keyway almost stripped off. I will be returning it and order from someone else It might be worth choosing a slightly more expensive product.

This thing works great. My freshly lead cleaned and liquid metal coated 6700k dropped 20C under load, which was enough to give me an extra 200MHz overclock. Delidded doesn't come with instructions, but you really need to know what you're doing if you're going to do delidded anyway. Just make sure the capacitors below line up with the notch on the tool and you're good to go. Happy overclocking!

The thing worked great and almost effortlessly. A great alternative to other brands of cap removers. Comes with a paper blade for cleaning black silicone. Due to its design, you can install almost any Intel processor.

My 8700k now runs stably on 5.1, under load 60 s 360 rad. Don't waste your money with this really expensive alternative. This item is very easy to use. Did this with my 8500 HTPC CPU just for fun, it still helped as it never goes below 3.9 now, just combine it with liquid metal and you'll be hooked.

Hesitant to buy because it's so cheap compared to more popular lead removal tools. However, I was able to disable the 4790k processor with no problems. I'm definitely glad I didn't spend an extra $30 to get something this simple.

The screw threads don't go far enough that the second part can't even touch the IHS so I had to find a screw with matching threads that I could press to remove. Another solution is to create a spacer in the form of multiple washers so it can come into contact with a smaller part to apply pressure. Got rid of them for the first time and wanted to try Direct Die. Super easy and took less than a minute. Also, I suggest you use an even chip if you are using 10th Gen Intel since IHS is already soldered to the chip. I have 20 cents difference :)
