🔮 Xikar Crystal Humidifier: Long-lasting, Reusable, Expanding Crystals, 70% Humidity, 2 fl oz Jar Review

Many of the photo reviews mention very few small crystals. Here are before and after pictures. Simply fill the glass to the PG fill line and allow to settle. A handful of small crystals is enough to fill a glass! My small humidor is difficult to keep humid due to the dry forced air heating in my house, but the amount of crystals is not a problem.

Pretty sad item. Tiny. Think of those tiny cans of cat food for comparison if that helps. Also, the number of beads in the jar is ridiculous. I'm glad I only bought one... Just wanted to check. I have thousands of dollars worth of cigars in my humidor, so I'm sticking with my set of Boveda pouches. Xikar is very disappointing on this issue. Stay away.

I have had exactly the same experience as other reviewers. The product came out with the right amount of crystals it should have and they were completely dry. I added some glycol to them but it didn't make a noticeable difference. I will only be keeping it because I have another jar of crystals that I would like to use in addition to this one, but it is not what is advertised. I wouldn't recommend 5.

I am using a 2 ounce XiKAR Cigar Humidor Glass in a brand new humidor. Maybe I didn't season it properly and that's why the humidity is constant at 68%, which I think is great. I like the way these banks work. I'm very glad I bought these as I've never had consistent humidity in my humidor before. Highly recommended. The only bad thing is that the seller took a long time to send the package, probably 7-10 days.

Works great. I wanted the jars to be larger or as large as they appear in the picture. But they are pretty small. And quite expensive. But they work if you have large humidors with a large stock of valuable cigars. A can of this size holds about 100 cigars. So take it from there. Once you receive them, remove the top, fill with distilled water, then replace the cap with a black breathable top and you're done. Just put it in your humidor. I live in Colorado where the average daily humidity is 52% so I understand it takes more effort to maintain 70% humidity here but in the result none of these cans keep the humidity above 65%. In a 50 cigar humidor I have to add a second to keep the level at 70% (even with the special 'moisturizing solution' recommended with the product - I doubt it's worth it. I bought a 2 oz version for my glass top humidor which I won in a silent auction at a charity event.
