XPEL Black Universal Guard Protection Car Care Review

I load and unload the back of a new commuter truck several times a week. I just wanted to protect the plastic on the back from major scratches. It really helps. Just replace when it starts looking bad instead of replacing the entire panel.

Great product that is very easy to use and works great. I actually used this on my RV to hide a small stain. The product blends well and looks like it was always there. Also, it was very easy to apply and very durable. Good product!

I used them on my jeep to protect the paint on the door sills. All stock door sills are too thick and won't seat the door seal properly. The film is thin and surprisingly strong. It's not the easiest foil to install, especially on small compound turns, but it's doable. Simply use plenty of water on both the painted surface and the foil and keep spraying to keep everything WET until ready to be scraped off or pressed down. Don't sweat tiny bubbles. They disappear when dry.

Band structure matches my Rhino liner perfectly. It was fairly easy to install and I was able to use a heat gun to wrap it around some of the curves. I added a few pieces to cover some of the cuts I needed to make to allow the tape to go around the curves and was concerned it would just peel off over time. **I have not used any other type of protective film to compare this product. I bought this product for my Paddleboard surfboard. I applied soapy water to the tape and application area as instructed, resulting in some bubbles. I peeled off the foil and tried again, but this time I didn't skimp on the soap so much, and also soaped the foil on the outside. After that everything went like magic.
