XSCORPION CB250 Circuit Breaker Manual Review

Used as the main fuse in a car radio, works with two 1800w amps and one 600w amp. It works great as a circuit breaker and doesn't work even at maximum current. I'll order another one when I put in my auxiliary battery, these amps I have are gluttons.

Capable of handling 250 amps but trips at high current temperature. My inverter/charger is charging at 80 amps max and this trips the switch connected between the battery array and the inverter. It also works when the fridge is on and the microwave is on for more than 2 minutes. None can be reliably left unattended. Trust other lower reviews. Sri

Installed as a main fuse/breaker for my amp power cable. My amp went into protection mode. Weeks of diagnostics led me to replace it with a fuse holder and voila, no more problems. I have Xscorpion 150 and 250 amp models of this fuse. They worked and I reset them so I assume they work as expected. This is good because they can also be used as switches if needed. It's worth noting that the first time it worked it didn't reset, I thought "dass f-en" was already broken, but it takes a few minutes to "cool down" and it resets again, so do it you no stress.

250A but the eyelets for attaching the wire are very small. The intention was to run this in series from my battery to my main switch in the race car, but I use 4GA cables and unless I go out and buy a 4GA connector with a super small nose, the pins on this thing are just going to come at don't work for me. I'm not sure if they're for thin wire, but thin wire will melt if it sees 250 amps, so I have to say the design department might want to look into that.

I just installed and tested it so while I can't comment on the lifespan, here are the approximate performance specs I measured. At 250 amps I had a 0.2 volt drop and was able to run at that amperage for at least 15 seconds. With a draw of 400 amps there was a 0.3V drop and an operating time of 5 seconds.
