NOT bi-metal but good blades

These are not true bi-metal blades. The bi-metal blade has a high speed/tool steel cutting edge welded to a flexible carbon steel blade. They're just monosteel blades. They don't get along well with metal and will burn out and cut through screws and nails. But for the price they are very good.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Not as thick as other blades

Good value for money. Cuts metal well compared to other blades.

They worked very well and really cut metal. Other Revain kits are useless against any type of metal, even staples or small nails. I've gone through two of these blades and have had great success cutting through nails, staples and even large bolts. This pack will last a long time. I will buy again.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Best nail clipper blade I've found

I've been laying hardwood floors in my house. I bought these blades to trim nail heads when the nailer fails. These blades worked well and cut through nails with ease. My experience so far with so-called bi-metal blades is that the nail destroys the blade just as quickly as the nail. I am very pleased with the performance of these blades. I would definitely buy them again but probably not necessary. As long as these blades last, 10 blades will last me long.

Pros
  • Have fun
Cons
  • Good but not great

But these blades!: Power & Hand Tools

I wasn't expecting much given the price but these blades are amazing! After looking through a bunch of $15-20 hardware store knives that only took a few minutes, I was disappointed at the lack of affordable quality. On the contrary, these blades stand up to repeated use - nails, wood, the occasional scraping of hardened grout from brick - they stand up to anything and perform flawlessly. I bought this pack 10 months ago and used it almost daily during a client's home renovation. I have 4 left…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Compatibility

Durable, fits perfectly and serves its purpose.

Used in Chicago Electric (Harbor Freight) multi-tool. I used them to trim door panels and cut and match hardwood floors on a recent flooring project. I'm a DIY enthusiast so I know how to get the best value for money. HF was closed due to the pandemic so I went with them. Unlike OEM blades which are 1 piece mild steel they are 2 piece bonded and hardened as these blades will last MUCH longer than the original blades. It took a bit of fiddling to line it up perfectly to tighten the collet, but…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Minor issues
