I really like this lamp. This is perfect if you are looking for a small table lamp or a small bedroom lamp. The yellow color is fantastic and looks great in my bedroom. I just want it to get bigger. The on/off switch is designed to withstand heavy use and the base is lined with felt to prevent scratching the table surface. I like the dimming feature but I won't be using it. I keep it on full power and the bulb gives off a nice glow. Nearly perfect.

The base of this lamp is solid metal with a single switch which is fairly simple. I have a decorative lightbulb, very dim (since there is no shadow, I don't want a bright lightbulb to blind me when the lightbulb is on). The base is heavy and has a nice coloring - I think it will definitely last a long time as there really isn't much that can go wrong with it other than a switch. If you are looking for a simple industrial style lamp, this is your choice!

I have the white color. Heavy strong metal, nice industrial look, as shown. I'm not too keen on the dimming feature as it causes flickering, but that's probably because I'm using a high lumen LED bulb. I could probably avoid the flickering with a lower wattage bulb, but figured I needed good lighting, so I don't use a dimmer (on the cord) at all. Bought 3 more bulbs from Y-Nut, all fantastic bulbs and get lots of compliments on them. My new one is simple but cool. It's made of metal and has a nice weight. Received it, unboxed, screwed in the bulb, plugged in, flipped the switch and nothing (no light). Changed bulbs, still the same. I pulled out my voltage line tester. Power supply via network cable, power supply via dimmer. I removed the lamp base, power to the switch. I checked the switched side, no power. I bypassed the switching power supply.
