Broke on the first day! Bad design.

I'm a big guy, so I know I'm going to put them to the test. But both broke on the first day? I give this 1 star. I spent some time in the shop and got them running until the end of the season. "1 star and you got 'em working for the rest of the season?" "If you got 'em working, why not 2 or 3 stars?" Because it's not my company and they need to know that there is a better way to make your product like I did. But they did nothing and resell this stuff. Go ahead and buy if you don't mind MacGyver

I love these though. in the shoe care and accessories section

I love these ski boot protectors. They make walking much easier and more comfortable. I have two pairs of boots. I use the small size on a larger pair, size 24.5. They have stretched over time and I can throw them on the floor and just step on them. They don't fall off. I use my shoe strap to carry them with me when I have nowhere to leave them. I bought a new pair for my new boots, size 23.5. According to the diagram I needed an extra small one. I really have to stretch them to put them on and

Very happy with these boot protectors

Last winter I wore these Yaktrax boot covers about 6 times while skiing. Due to the pandemic and a desire to minimize time indoors, I loaded into the car, walked across the parking lot and up the stairs to the outside ski room. I found the Yaktrax relatively easy to put on and take off (average shoe size 28/28.5 328mm) and they have continued to be used with no problem. They definitely made walking easier (offer some bounce), felt stable, and gave confidence when climbing stairs. Suggest if you

Too bulky to be practical for many

For a product to be really good, it not only has to do what it's supposed to do, but also be practical to use. While these boot sole protectors do protect the soles of the boots, practicality is limited. If you have to run a long distance on the road, in a parking lot or on gravel, this can be a necessity. However, once you can delete them, you need to save them somewhere. If you are carrying a backpack, no problem. But if you need to put them in your pockets. You can do this, but they're…

Great before they break or fall (repair method included)

I had several of these headphones and use them almost every weekend and they all broke or got lost. However, you walk on clouds with these things, you can even dance in your shoes. Considering they're not very durable, I still buy a pair every season, they're worth it if you're tending to your boots or running a track (think Keystone where there's no safe way from your car). I attached my DIY fix with 1/8" steel cable. Will try them out tomorrow and the rest of the season. I used their Jerry…

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Protection

Good news: I like running in it. My boots are sized on the higher end of the size range I bought so will likely fall off. Buy them small if your size is "teen". In addition, clearing snow from the trunk is of great importance. The catch is that, especially if you lose it while walking in the snow, you might not realize it's gone. I had to follow in my footsteps again. I found myself looking down every few minutes which was driving me insane. I riveted the strap and buckle so it will now pop…

Yaktrax is the perfect protection for expensive ski boots

Well I've only been skiing for 66 years (was up 7am) so I don't know everything. a while! But I do know for sure that these Yaktrax boot protectors are the best I've found for this job. Walking around in unprotected ski boot tops is a surefire way to quickly ruin a $600 pair of boots. Plastic is quite soft and wears down, especially on hard surfaces like roads, trails, sand and gravel. So if you like your boots, get a pair of these Yaktrax. Scania; easily gone. They are strong but very easy to…
