These are NOT Yealink W56H phones! Please read before buying!

These are not Yealink W56H phones. I have received Yealink W56HV branded phones with the Verizon logo and the software on the phone is different from the original W56H phones. Probably someone bought them at a discount and tried to pass them off as originals. Keep in mind!

Pros
  • 3.5mm headphone jack
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

I recently upgraded my three Grandstream VoIP cordless phones to YEA-W56H. YEA-W56H is much better. The speech intelligibility is not inferior to any landline telephone. Another plus is that I can move around my big house without losing connection. I get a great signal even in the basement. Configuration/pairing couldn't be simpler.

Pros
  • Exceptional HD sound with wideband technology
Cons
  • unreliable

Might help you read this.

I've had a lot of problems installing firmware on used devices I've bought. Long story short, I ended up downgrading the base that merged all the phones to flash the older firmware. Then I updated the database to the latest version. After all the phones were connected to the base, I set up an FTP server. Added settings for phones to include the old version. I lowered the base and upon reboot the phones picked up the old firmware. Then update the configuration to the new version while updating…

Pros
  • Elegant backlit keyboard design with key lock
Cons
  • Lots of stuff
