I had plastic trays and they didn't hold the dominoes securely. There are other wooden trays that are a little flimsy, but these premium beech wood trays hold the dominoes securely and are by no means fragile. They are durable and should withstand years of continuous use. My only gripe, and it's being a bit picky, is that I wish they were about two to three inches wider to accommodate more tiles, or a little more spacing between tiles. Any domino enthusiast should find them enjoyable to use.
