🧵 YEQIN Durable Universal Thread Holder Review

It allows me to use cone thread on my sewing machine which isn't equipped for it. Pretty handy as I've struggled to find thread for a while during the peak production of masks during the Covid pandemic.

Unfortunately, the plastic cone holder specified on the packaging was not included. It is also not one of those described. there are a few. There is nothing to stop the coils from oscillating.

DO NOT PLACE LARGE COILS! why else get it! no core for large coils as shown on the packaging! my singer from 1929 throws a big coil at him! I had to take the core! I would give more stars if it came with the core pictured on the box! OR TOLD IN THE DESCRIPTION THIS DOESN'T COME WITH!

Good product and well packaged. I like that the filament holder is two piece, both the filament holder and spool holder screw into the base instead of just sitting in a pre-drilled hole. It disassembles very easily and thanks to its two-piece construction, it easily fits in my travel bag for a sewing machine. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a heavy base thread stand.

It was delivered well in advance but the ends of the two metal rods screwed together didn't work because the threads came loose and didn't match. I had to take it to my brother in law who had to fiddle with it for about 20 minutes with a pair of pliers trying to twist the two bars. If he wasn't working with pliers it would be junk that could be sent back or thrown in the bin. I do not recommend buying this.

Disappointed! As you can see, the product doesn't quite look like a box. There is no spacer for the coil as shown in the photo. The bar is in two pieces but bolted together correctly, NOT straight. The bottom bar is bent, and the top one is bent the other way. The base isn't as heavy as another I've had for years, I wish I'd bought two THEN Photo Show screws on the side - there's not even a hole for it - done differently. I think it will work fine but not as tight/strong, distractingly crooked,

The picture on the box shows a long strong pole. What was in the box had two pieces of a bolt with a hinge that could catch on the threads if you're not careful. The cast iron base was fine, but the rod holding the thread was weak. Even whoever drilled the hole for the small center rod didn't deliver a good thread. It was impossible to screw in the rod holding the thread. My husband used heavy duty glue to allow this item to be used remotely. If you are interested in this product, either buy it
