Works perfectly! in the kitchen and dining room

I tried these Yevior and Kitchen Gizmo brands and they worked much better because the clamps opened wider to accommodate more pans. It didn't keep as much food from falling off as I expected, but neither did the Kitchen Thing.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities

  • Some cons

Everyone needs this

I think this will be my favorite gift for family and friends until I know everyone has one. It's so brilliant. No more uncomfortably large sieves clogging up the dishwasher. No more noodles getting stuck in the wire mesh I need to clean. I can do things with one hand. I can wash it in the dishwasher between the washers.

  • handy product

Universal kitchen tool

I am still trying this on various pots/liquids that need draining. It has worked well in 2 out of 4 attempts so far without much adjustment. Another time I had to make sure the pasta didn't overflow the filter and one was a disaster. All in all I think it will be a valuable tool in my kitchen. Easy to clean with soapy water.

  • Looks good

We love product

This works really well for a small batch of hamburgers when draining, but when you have a pound or more it wants to fall out at the top! Anyway, we mostly use 1/2 lb, so it's not that important to us. Overall, this is a pretty handy tool and definitely better for draining grease than using a lid for the most part.

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Used it for noodles in kitchenware and gadgets

It really comes in handy instead of using one of those big metal colanders. The only thing that detracts from 5* is the fact that no matter what you're worried about, the part that holds the food inside isn't big enough. half an inch longer I lost a few noodles. About 7-8 of them. But it's great, especially when you don't have space to store another large bowl. I'm really pleasantly surprised with this purchase overall!

Best Kitchen Tool: Kitchen Utensils & Gadgets

I bought this because the colander we used to have had holes big enough for small diameter pasta to slide through like angel hair. This sieve was amazing! It fits in every round pot we have and the only thing to remember is to pull the strainer forward once it's engaged, otherwise your food could fall out rather than the strainer. Otherwise it works for everything. We use it for draining pasta, meat, boiled eggs, if it needs to be drained through a colander or just any way, this is the tool for

A good idea in theory.

I thought it would be a great thing but I was wrong. suitable for the pan, that's the only good thing. Once you tilt the pan to strain the liquid, the only way you can tilt it at a certain angle is before the contents (noodles in my case) start sloshing across the surface. It's not possible to empty all the liquid from the pot and you either have to scoop out the contents (luckily I ordered the spiders in the same order) or there is a significant amount of water left in the pot. It is best to…

  • Durable test results

  • You could choose a newer model
