I run on trails at night, and this little light is bright enough to easily run in complete darkness. Definitely worth the $7. I'm on 6th run with the original batteries, and they have not faded. When I got this light, I was unimpressed by the build quality, and plastic hat hooks, but I have had no problems using it. The hooks hold onto the brim of my hat solidly, and it does not move around. Great illumination but clip is on wring side. Woukd have preferred it above visor. Not under visor which gets annoying when not needed.

I bought this to attach to a hard hat. The hard hat has a standard brim of about 1.5" but the light is too deep, so when I put the hard hat on my head, my forehead pushes the light off the hard hat onto the ground. This light would work on a baseball cap with a large brim, but I can't recommend it on a hard hat.

Sarw a fella with this and thought. Hey that cap lamp is freakin' great. I placed am order and there are no batteries. My buddy told me for the price what do I expect. So, I give it five stars.

After one use on a campout, the headlamp clips broke for no reason whatsoever. It never fell or had any force put against it, so there should be no reason that this happened. Unfortunately, my return window closed on November 15th, so there is no way for me to get a refund or replacement of this product. This is money wasted, do not buy it.

So much better than the forehead lights. Beam is wide and bright enough that I don't have a problem with no ability to modify the beam position. More than made up with its slender profile.

Just received my cap light today. Tried 3 different sets of new batteries, still no luck making it work. Not to mention the clip that holds the battery cover on was broken when I opened the package. You will truly understand the need and value of hat lights the first time you have to go into the darkness of an unfamiliar location.

I just started using it since it is dark when I get up to walk my dogs. I really like it! I can leave the flash light at home! I can really see what I need to pick up! Ha

I really like this product both to carry on an evening walkabout or on my visor. My one complaint is that the visor clipis rigid and not forgiving. It can easily break with too much stretch. Unfortunate because most most visors are thick and the light clip needs a bit more flexibility to clip it on. There is a risk of breaking.

I do likie hands free flashlight part. Clips on hat. Be very carfull cliping on. Clips look light weight. If break figure I would glue back on. If can keep track broken piece.

This is a decent cap light. Let me say,however, that unless you're a dedicated hat wearer like me who can't go out without your hat, you're mostly better off getting a strap-on headlight rather than a cap light. For me, I've been wearing my Greek Fisherman's cap for 40 years and can't go out without it and headlights interfere with cap wearing too much. Worked great for fishing and now I use it while in the yard or working on my car to keep light where I need it the most. Flashlights.

I thought the AAA batteries would be a good thing since they're cheap and rechargeable but they proved too heavy and the bill falls over your eyes. That would be bad enough but it's not very bright either.

Does just what I wanted. I use for ridding my electric bike and for early morning 🐟 fishing. Fits right in the bill of my helmet and my fishing ball caps.

I have two Cap Lights, one on a baseball hat and another I cut the clips off and permanently mounted it on a winter hat. The Cap Light uses AAA batteries which makes it heavier than other lights using lithium batteries, but illuminates enough to work or whatever without additional lighting.
