Didn't work on hard hat

I bought this to attach to a hard hat. The hard hat has a standard brim of about 1.5" but the light is too deep, so when I put the hard hat on my head, my forehead pushes the light off the hard hat onto the ground. This light would work on a baseball cap with a large brim, but I can't recommend it on a hard hat.

Great for use in the indoor shooting range

Cons

The light is not bright enough and doesn't illuminate a large area
