Works great in Ubuntu; can't get it to work on windows

I bought this card to record analog video tapes through a scaler to create archive files. The computer it's installed on (custom built: MSI Z370 SLI Plus motherboard, i7 8700 processor, 64GB RAM, 18TB RAID) dual boots Windows 10 (x64, Pro, version 1909) and Ubuntu (20.04) partitions . I just can't get this card to work on Windows. It shows up in Device Manager with no errors or warnings, but none of the three installed capture/editing packages (Premiere Pro CS3, Da Vinci Resolve 15, and OBS…

Easy plug-and-play for computers and accessories

Works great with OBS Studio 64-bit. Drivers are installed automatically via Windows 10, the card shows up as a camera in Device Manager. You can go to OBS Studio and set it as "Video Capture Device" and you're done. It really is a painless process. I use it to record videos from Oculus Rift. I can't use it as a recording facilitator, but what I was able to do was duplicate my displays on the source device, output that video over HDMI from the source and onto the YoCap card. I'm only recording…

WOW! Computers and accessories

I could now write a BOOK about this product! Don't let ANYONE tell you to look out for all EXPENSIVE gadgets when shopping for essentials! This is a VERY AFFORDABLE device that WORKS PERFECTLY here! From the moment I installed it on my computer, I've connected my Sony AX33 via HDMI and BOOM! Immediate activation! Now I honestly have to say that there is a slight lag/lag, but this is NORMAL and acceptable because the picture is perfect! I also tested my Nikon D3200 and got the same great result!

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Very expensive

Used as a secondary input to capture one of the GoPro5 Black's multiple HDMI outputs for live streaming. Works reliably, doesn't seem to record audio (when I plugged in a Roku stick or GoPro Hero 5 to test), there are cheaper USB adapters that do. Although this is not a problem in my application. If you just want to record video and keep a USB drive available (perhaps for more recording devices), this is a good choice. If you also need audio, https://www.amazon.com/PUTELTAL-Capture-Dongle-Record…

Pros
  • Wide Range
Cons
  • Null
