Yukon YP C5 F10 5 Steel Differential Review

This is exactly the same coverage as the Ford OEM but about $45 cheaper. Put this on my 97 foot F350 10.25 and it fits with no problem.

Fits 04 F250. The description says it doesn't fit, it's because of the length of the screws. If you buy longer screws at the hardware store,

The cover is great but the photos clearly show and say the screws are included but they weren't. That's why they sent me a second one, and it didn't have any bolts either.

Excellent fit, excellent quality, no complaints. Recommend it as an all day refreshment. I read all the reviews and was prepared that I would need longer screws. The company should change the name in relation to "steel".

This question is for Yukon. Clients don't have to answer. It's thicker than OEM. I assumed longer mounting screws would be included. Now you need to find new screws of the right length. Why aren't the correct length screws included?

Overall the diff cover is great. The fit and finish is better than I expected. Looks like a factory part. The only problem is that if you switch from a stamped cover to this one, your factory bolts will be too short. I didn't realize it until I had bolted all the RTVs, glued them to the diff and put the first bolt in. Was frustrated to say the least so hope this helps someone avoid it!

Looks really well built. It even has a cut out in the mating surface for the RTV instead of a paper gasket which would probably seal better anyway. My big complaint, like everyone else, is that the kit doesn't include the longer screws needed for installation. I used the standard 5/16”-18 x 1 1/4” flat washer and lock washer and it worked great.
