Small hardly fits. It's tight and difficult to slip your paws into the hand holes. Medium is baggy and too long. For my dog, the length doesn't matter, but I have to adjust the wrong side of the sweater so he doesn't pee on it. There is a big difference between the sizes and the measurements are slightly different. Otherwise, the sweater is well made and soft. Perfect for our fall hike.

I love the look of this sweatshirt, the color is great too. The inside is soft and lined. The only thing I didn't like was that the fabric got too close to my puppy boy's privates (laughs) so the fabric ended up on the bottom of the sweatshirt when he went to the bathroom. I washed it to see if it would shrink but not much. I ended up only folding it once when we went outside to prevent this. The fit is good all over - I have a small for my 12 lb dog and a medium for my 17 lb dog.

This item is the third and final size and color we have ordered. The first was too big. Too big for our 70 pound pit.
