Our dog looked very cute, but also big small. We have a Flatcoated Retriever so we ordered the largest size and he was still very small. It took a bit of effort to lunge at him and he jumped out. Our dog is not fat at all, just a large breed.

First off, this sweatshirt is absolutely gorgeous. It is well made and its design allows my dog to move around easily (not tight around the legs). Unfortunately, determining the size is not as easy as described in the product description. My dog is a 9lb Maltipoo and it didn't fit. He was very loose (too loose, he created a tunnel for his urine). I returned it for the X-Small which fits great but is a bit short for his body.

I really liked it. It was perfect for my 4 month old Pitbull/Labrador mix puppy. When I ordered "large" I figured he would have to grow into it, but no, it just suits him. It's also easy to get. Once you put the front legs through, the back legs attach with Velcro. The sweatshirt didn't hold up very well, but it was still fun to pull it over his head and watch him take it off. He also immediately accepted a squeaky carrot toy and completed the look!

This is the most ridiculously brutal costume ever. I got this for my dog who is obsessed with rabbits. Some may think it's cruel. I think it's fun. Unfortunately it turned out to be too small.
