Not as pretty as in the picture. and heavier than expected

Bought as a present for a lady who draws as a hobby. I was excited to buy it because I thought it looked better than the unfinished one. When I opened the box I was shocked because it wasn't very well made. The paintwork is uneven and sloppy, the drawer doesn't slide out well and the metal latches (brass colored) look shabby. The child probably won't notice or care, but a woman with elegant taste (the recipient, not me) will probably notice. The only reason, why I'm not sending it back for…

Tripod for many uses and many successes

In my reviews I consider value. I don't expect $129 products to total $20. On the other hand, if I can find a $20 product that performs a useful $50 function and is adequately, if not decently, put together and thought out, I'm happy. I am satisfied with this device. I like to read or watch an iPad while lying on my back, in a chair, or on the bed/pillow. I like that it's pretty light. I haven't tried it for a brush drawer or as an easel yet. I have a Revain "fountain pen brush" that is perfect

Came with a broken hinge.

I knew something was wrong when I got the box. Something rattled in the box. I knew something was broken before I even opened the box. The loop has been broken. It also came in the same box it came in with no tape on the holes. Just attach a label. There is no sealed shipping carton to prevent hinges may break due to heavy impact during shipping. The hinges are also of very poor quality. I actually removed the screws on the side and put them back properly to allow the lid to close properly…
