Excellent quality and a must for small spaces

If you work on a motorcycle or other tight spaces where a regular polisher will not work, this is a must. I almost feel like they should sell themselves better. I had to search a lot. For the price you can't beat them and they work really well. The smaller ones work great in a Dremel and the larger ones work great in a drill press. There are only 3 pieces in the package, but you get everything in the photo.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

They do what they're supposed to do

I used them to polish a set of wheels with Flitz metal polish. It's still a tedious job, but it worked well compared to using a simple rag. Reviews that all colors have the same density/hardness are simply not true. The difference is easy to feel. Do not use a Dremel on tools with a small shank that spins too fast and does not have enough torque at low speeds. I would buy them again.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Some problems

Styrofoam wheel cone

No instruction manual. No instructional DVD. No guarantee card. I'M JUST HAVING FUN. These are durable cones for use on electric drills. Ideal for buffing wheels or other narrow/odd buffing shapes. Don't use them on sharp or jagged surfaces and they're pretty durable. The orange cone is VERY hard. Yellow solid. and blue soft for finishing. A good product. Share of "company name" foam bumper price. (mothers). highlighted.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Difficult to say

Good for waxing but not strong enough for polishing

Tried to polish my truck wheels with this. The foam is too soft even on the "hardest" cone and doesn't let the polish work. Probably best for waxing wheels or hard to reach places. Also, the tips of all cones twist and deform easily at the slightest pressure (again, the foam rubber is too soft). The shank is either plastic or very light metal and is completely round, but my drill chuck seemed to hold it securely. Use Mother's PowerCone for polishing. Save them for a smoother application of wax…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Where have they been all my life!

Bought to get into tight spaces on a motorbike or mountain bike. Both have bare aluminum that needs polishing. I used every conceivable polish and tool. 9" airway pad with hard polish, powerball nutball, DA, variable speed pads of wool, foam, etc. A small yellow cone in a dremel with a flexible extension rod and a flitz polish (my least favorite) is what got me into mine to polish entire mountain bike frame in less than 20 minutes. I've never done it in such a short amount of time, and I've…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

They're not the same quality as the expensive Powercone cones and the different colored foams don't seem to have the same varying degrees of density as you do would expect (orange IE for cutting, blue for buffing etc) but for the price they work well. I use them the same way I do - on small spots (in my case my unpainted, polished alloy wheels, which I've removed the clear coat from and just used metal polish) so the surface is small and a bit aggressive for sponges - In between the spokes are…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
