Connects to SmartThings, then does nothing!

No support available. The various device handlers are no different. Connect. Cannot turn on/off. Color cannot be changed. No response from 3A. Don't buy for SmartThings.

Works great with Home Assistant

I use a Nortek USB to Zigbee adapter with Home Assistant and the only way to set it up would be easier if it unzips itself. I plugged it in and had the light strip running in 5 minutes. It takes 4 minutes to insert the cables into the connector and 1 minute to connect and create a map in Home Assistant. They respond instantly to commands from the IKEA Tradfri remote control (via Home Assistant). I have ordered 3 more of them.

Great controller! Great connection to SmartThings!

Great Zigbee controller! Connected to SmartThings like a champion. One caveat: I've found that MANY RGBW light strips (NOT this unit - its wiring is perfect) are color coded incorrectly - I had to swap the red and green wires with the LED strip to get it to light up the correct colors. Easy to repair and no defect of the item! This seems to be the case with lesser known (less expensive) LED strips.

Reliable product, suitable for home automation devices

The device has screw terminals that are tight on the cable, much better than those "terminals" that fall off at every glance. The LED controller works great with Zigbee, no problem connecting or sending commands. It also drives the LEDs as it should. The only reason I only give 4/5 stars is because the device doesn't change color instantly, but randomly approaches a new color step by step. That might look good with an RGB LED strip, but with separate R, G, and B LED strips, the colors only…

Excellent Zigbee Controller

This is a good zigbee led controller. With HomeAssistant it works perfectly. Make sure you keep this device in a place where it will not overheat and die. The reason I am giving this product a star is that when the power supply is pushing anything over 1.5 amps it makes a high pitched/shrill noise like you are hearing from a transformer or ballast. On top of that, it's definitely a decent LED controller, and with Zigbee it makes integration into a home automation system super easy. Will…
