I make the best dumplings and spaetzle [or spaetzle], my wife, kids and friends tell me, and I mostly use them instead of store-bought dried pasta. I've been using a traditional spinning spaetzle maker, more of a food grinder with big holes, for too many years. It's really torture to balance on the pot while the bear is cleaning. This spaetzle maker is stylish and easy to clean and store. Too bad I didn't know that 40 years ago. Now my brother wants and he will tell my sisters. Well, Christmas…

FAST Smooth Pasta/Spaetzle

I hesitated for a long time to buy this spaetzle maker but I'm so glad I did. It has the ideal weight and is very easy to use. I made chicken noodles with peppers for my "first swim". I've always used a knife to cut dough into boiling water to make pasta. This little tool helped me cook pasta in record time. The only thing that worried me was how the steam would force the pasta dough to cook the last piece of spaetzl dough when I was done. This tool cleans so easily! I was very surprised…

Perfect for Knockedley

I use this to quickly make delicious Nokedley. The Hungarian husband says it tastes a bit different than dumplings, which are made by cutting pieces off a cutting board (it takes forever and makes a huge mess), but overall we're happy with the result. A few tips: Don't put it on a boiling pot until all the batter is there. Push through the pieces at once instead of resting. If you have a large batch of batter and have a bit of arthritis (I do) it can get boring towards the end resulting in some
