🌳 Premium Zoo Med Natural Cork Bark Round Bulk Box - 15lbs Review

As you can see from my photos they come in a wide range of sizes but they are definitely not one size as advertised. Great price, just know what to expect. The box was badly wrinkled when it arrived.

The only bad thing about this item is that it says 'CorkBark ROUND'. If it is indeed CorkBark "ASST FLATS and rounds" if you need it a lot as an enthusiast and not in a shop then you know how important this can be. Great product at a reasonable price, the price would be better if they were actually massive rounds.

Because of the bad description I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the very large box and saw cork bark of all shapes and sizes. They even included some cork tubes, which are usually more expensive and ideal for some applications. One of the cork whistles was exceptionally large and very beautiful. In general I was very happy with the order. They do not come with Zoo Med branded labels as shown in the example pictured.

I was very happy! I'm hoping more boxes will become available as I had a very full box with a good mix of flat/round/half round and there were some large pieces which were great to get hold of. Since this is a random bulk purchase, no one should expect you to receive very specific items. If you want something specific, go and get your own bark from the shop or display. But I need cork bark for my 40+ geckos and it was a great purchase and I hope to order again soon ☺️

I'm not sure if this is the result of the delivery or just because it was a big box but I received a box with very broken parts. Most are no larger than 3 inches by 3 inches, and most are smaller. I was hoping to use this more in my adult gecko enclosures, but most of them are barely big enough to use for my baby/young geckos, which is what I will be using them for. All Thick, heavy pieces with added weight from the inner layer of bark. I've never had such thick layers of bark in a large batch of cork bark. Choosing parts doesn't work for use in an amphibian or reptile enclosure unless you have multiple types of saws, and even then you're ruining the natural shape for a smaller, more appropriate size.
