Ideal. Budgies (parrots) love it!

EXACTLY what I need. Our budgies LOVE it! You are in the "Chewing" Heavens! This gives them a reason to be brave and actively climb and explore to "find the food" I've hidden inside. (As you would expect from natural products: it arrived with a bit of lichen and quite a bit of "mud". So I washed it well in plain water and dried it for a few days before giving it to the birds.) . I've noticed that some other people have baked them in the oven (to kill possible travel parasites), which is a great

Great and versatile cork!

This is a really great offer. The piece of cork is round and much longer than in the photo. I bought a medium size and the hole in one end was about the size of an orange. The other end was closer to the opening size of a paper towel roll. This is ideal as the two pieces can easily be split into two or three separate semi-circles. I plan on leaving one piece as a full round shelter and using the other halves for parts of my paludarium water feature. Nice texture and lots of places to add plants

Good piece strong

I like that this cork bark is a solid size. I ended up cutting it in half and putting the two halves in a gecko enclosure; placed one each horizontally and vertically so the gecko can choose how to knock out during the day. He likes both and has adapted well to cork shelters. Also, the cork was very strong and could withstand the jigsaw cut without breaking small pieces, so I was glad it was strong enough to remain intact. I washed it several times in fairly hot and then cold water to get rid…

Different from the product name and picture, but a good deal.

So what I received is a LOT different from the picture and the product name/description is misleading. HOWEVER, what I got was exactly what I needed and was a great deal. I had a LONG PIPE, over 10 inches long but less than 4 inches wide in most places. This was for a dart tank and the inside diameter is perfect for them. I cut it in two tubes. It's also a beautiful piece with lots of dried moss and lichen on it. Great piece of cork for the price. If you want to be picky about the exact look…

Ideal for Madagascar hissing cockroaches

I'm a volunteer in our local Humane Society class. We have two 12 inch terrariums for our Madagascar hissing cockroaches that are 2 to 3 inches long. This cork hook arrived as advertised. Listed length for medium 10 x 6 x 4.5 inches. I have ordered two of these. The first piece is shaped like a shoe and measures 9 x 6 x 4.5 inches. The passageway is at least 2 1/2 inches wide, making it easy for roaches to hide. The second piece is 10 x 9 x 5 inches. It's a bit longer than expected, but I could

This is not for my leopard gecko

Alright. It's just very dirty no matter how many times you clean it. Pieces of wood always fall off. Several times I have found a small piece at the foot of my gecko. I kept finding piles of sand as I moved to clear them. Finally I soaked it in water to see what pests might have buried it (because the sand piles looked like they came from a burrowing creature) when it got wet a small mealworm fell out. It's so easy to hurt yourself. A small mealworm could crawl inside. Call me paranoid, but…
