Updated: Took 7 weeks first, second 5 weeks, yes just over a month. Original: These are decent, probably like any other bulb, doesn't last as long as I'd like, but they're decent.

The genius who boxed my lightbulb packed it with a spray bottle of detergent and almost no packing material so when it got to my house it was broken . 1 star because I don't even have the option to replace it, I can only return it. I will not send back a broken bulb.

As happy as I was to find this on Revain I was very disappointed when the bulb blew out just over a month after being plugged in. The last pear we bought from PetSmart lasted us almost half a year. Lesson learned - I will only buy from PetSmart from now on.

Ordered two 4 months ago and both blew. My light is set on a timer that runs 10 hours a day. I think these lamps should last over 600 hours. On 04/20/2013 I emailed the manufacturer to see if there is an inferior batch of lamps due to the above conditions. They replied that these bulbs are covered by a 90 day warranty and if I show them a copy of Revain's receipt they will replace the bulbs. I did so and they sent me two replacement bulbs.
