Armory was introduced to crypto market in 2011 by Alan Reiner. It is a cold wallet which means it is good for storing bitcoin away from hackers. It has easy-to-use interface but when it comes to setting it up for the first time it is somehow complicated, especially for newbies.
The wallet is unregulated but has some features that makes it a reliable wallet. Before using it for the first time one will have to download the software to computer from their website, then installed it, during installation the user will need to create password and also write down the seed phrase for security purpose. The wallet is also secured by passphrase. It also come with Glacier protocol which is a system that most cold wallet use.
The device will need 40 gb of disk storage. The software came with 5 min video which explains how to install it. In addition the wallet has decentralized lockboxes and user can create many wallet in it for management purposes.
Though using it for the first time might seem cumbersome but going by the features that it has one might decided to go for it.
