BAT is a ambitious project to disrupt a massive industry like advertisement industry. The idea it offers seem to be very legit and evolutionary, and it already has delivered a very good product. In the long term, BAT will be stay and grow; however, with some of the drawback I pointed out, the future of this project is a big question.

  • - This token is issued on Ethereum, one of the most secure blockchain in the world .
  • - Brenden Eich, the leader of this project, is a professional developer who has much experience in building the product serve for the purpose of computer science. He is involved in very popular projects such as Javascript (a programming language used to building websites) and Firefox (a very popular internet browser with a huge number of monthly active users). Its current success can be inferred to be brought about by its excellent leader
  • - BAT has already published their complete product, Brave browser. Brave browser is much faster than Google Chrome or Firefox, starting up a website just takes 1/8 of the other browsers' starting up time. The project is very interesting, safe and reliable. I use Browser day by day and it works very well. To me is better than Internet Explorer and Mozilla. The token Bat can be used to obtain a variety of advertising and attention-based services on the BAT platform.

Honest Review as a User of Basic Attention Token/Brave

I have been using Brave Browser since November 2018 and this is one of the most promising Crypto-currency today because of its simple design were every user of the Brave app would earn Basic Attention Token. The score reflects the BAT and not the browser. The idea is intriguing and the lack of ads is nice. I have no interest in tipping publishers and the amount of BAT a user can earn in a year is negligible and alone is not compelling enough to use the browser. But the browser itself is good and is worth using without earning BAT.

Pros
  • The browser works well. It's intuitive and simple. The adblocker integration also works as expected. The browser is compelling enough to use without the lure of earning BAT.
Cons
  • At the moment the BAT can't be used for anything but tipping publishers. Users just have to trust that some day they can transfer their BATs away from the in-browser wallet. Additionally, the total amount a user can earn is negligible and not a compelling enough reason alone to switch browser.
