It is a blockchain platform with the main objective of enabling horizontal and vertical scaling of decentralized applications, but all this is achieved through an operating system type constructor, on which applications (DApps) can be built. It also has a much safer and more powerful range of efficiency and optimization than its competitor Ethereum. Now, speaking of its secondary objective, we can find that this project is focused on solving blockchain problems, such as free use, offering greater flexibility to developers and users to offer free services, and the support of fast sequential performance. In addition to this we find that EOS maintains great scalability, thanks to the use of a consensus algorithm designed for it, which has the name: Proof of Delegated Participation, or Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS), where, thanks to DPoS , a transaction can be considered confirmed with 99.9% certainty, 0.25 seconds after its issuance. It should be noted that EOS implements an asynchronous Byzantine fault tolerance algorithm and recognizes the power originated from token holders and that they delegate to block producers. In summary, EOS guarantees fast and secure transactions, great developer capacity, and maintains complete network security, giving rise to another great platform in world trade.
