Not an engineer but work with them! I regularly interpret drawings of hydraulic flow control components and my husband uses design software. We needed a puppy gate for a door sill with an odd angle. While it worked, it was ridiculously difficult to install. A mark on the white parts would really help because they don't match intuitively. The pictures on the box proved to be more helpful than the "instructions". We also received an extra extension piece. which had no useful direction. - The opening/closing part is tight - which can be good for different situations. It's stiff and not easy to slip, especially with a puppy on one arm. Looks good, the goal is strong. Since it's not a ladder, we like that it can swing in any direction and you don't have to use a locking clip. We also like that you can temporarily remove it from the wall mounts if you need to. Our puppy door in the laundry room is like a sliding door, but this one is more of an exterior door. Do we buy it again? Probably. just because it was the best option for a weird angle.
