Review on 📏 L.S. Starrett 56362 C11H-6-4R 6-inch Combination Square (1 unit) by Jamal Murph

Rubbish. I've been using this square in my shop for a little over four years and today is its last day. The bubble level is broken, the recorder won't stay in place (which is driving me nuts) and is rusty. I can fix rust, I really don't need a spirit level, but I do need a scribe and I use it. Unlike cheaper models that have a threaded scriber, the guys at Starrett have chosen to use an O-ring or something similar to install the scriber. Throw this thing too many times and it will go away. I'm sure I could visit their website and locate the part, which would probably cost $15-20 (with shipping). However, if I pay over a hundred dollars for something that averages $10 to $20, I expect it to last over four years. You should be ashamed.
