This canister filter is the best purchase for our 10 gallon tank. Very easy to set up. I changed the setup by routing the air intake through our biomechanical foam filter. The inlet pipe slid right into the top. I also modified the nozzle by first shortening it by 1 hole to allow it to be mounted short instead of across the back and then reduced the amperage by drilling through the nozzle and doubling the number of jet nozzles. was very clean and the air bubbles were clear and crystal clear as they rose. I would buy this canister filter for any aquarium I set up in the future.
