I bought it for our horses. I find it better for dogs and cats
I'm reluctant to recommend it for horses. It's really too chunky to use under a ponytail. I love the fact that I know it won't break in the horse, but I'm not sure I'll insert it deep enough and the grip is just too awkward under the horse's tail. On the plus side, it's fast and efficient. I think it's the best for dogs and cats.
