Review on Enhance Your Raspberry Pi with Kuman's 7" Capacitive Touchscreen Display by Danny Booth

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor screen quality, complex body

Considering the price, I really don't mind how difficult the case assembly was. My painter didn't show up though, it was just plain brown cardboard that they cut out. Painting the facade with a spray can is quite easy, but a little cumbersome. However, the quality of the screen is criminal. The Google Hangouts green, which is a moderately deep green, is neon green on the screen I received. It's also very dark and there are no built-in controls to adjust the brightness. I use F.lux to reduce eye strain and it darkens the screen even more. Instead, I'd suggest a 7" EVICIV monitor. It doesn't come with a case, but it does come with a good set of cables, it's bright, and the colors are accurate enough not to bother you when you're sitting next to a decently calibrated display Rectangular HDMI adapter is used to better hide the HDMI cable.
