This little heater was very easy to install and use. I used about 1/3 of a packet of wax and it melted in about 10-15 minutes on the lowest heat. The book doesn't specify which wax color is for which area and I forgot to go back to the description so I just chose the wax color. I'm not sure if there is a real difference between the waxes. Wax instructions were fine. I have polycystic ovaries and hirsutism as a result. I usually shave my face (chin/neck) every day, but you can always see dark hairs in the pores/follicles and it's never completely smooth. It just so happened that I had a mild case of Covid and ended up in a 10 day quarantine so I didn't shave. After a week my hair was long enough to wax so I decided to order next day delivery and gave it a try. This shit works! But it also hurts like hell. I'm not sure if it was because I used the wrong color wax on my face or just because I literally pulled hundreds of coarse hairs out of my chin. probably more in common with the latter! I started with the sideburns because the hair there wasn't as thick and didn't hurt as much. After the first chin pull, I learned how to make smaller stripes. Because I had so much hair, not only was it painful to have a large strand that pulled more hair at the same time, it was also harder to pull. I just kept taking a deep breath and just had to tear it open quickly. I had some spot bleeding from some of the follicles because I had never waxed my chin before. I used an essential oil company's Lavender Cooling Spray after waxing to reduce redness and reduce pain. I had to do this in multiple sessions because I couldn't do too much at once. Maybe I'm weak, but I just needed a break. I hope it gets easier in the future! The photos are just to give you an idea of how thick the hair was. Hirsutism sucks, but it is. I'm glad I found this kit to help me do my hair at home.
