I have a 65 gallon aquarium and bought this nano pump because I needed some exercise. He did great. However, he has a weakness. This is the cover that goes on top of the fan. It can be exhausting to walk the right path. If you don't put it on properly, it will make a loud noise. Also, the holes on it are too big, and organic plant debris gets sucked into the holes and swirled around the fan. I would say the holes/fins in the lid are too big for very small fish. I definitely would not want children in an aquarium with this fan.
