I bought this adapter to replace an adapter that one of my co-workers seemed to like better than I did. I thought the price was good, especially with the USB connection. It lasted maybe a month. Went to use my saw and nothing. Okay, checked the button battery indicator. The battery is fully charged. Sawzall's a little knocked out, so let's get out the circular saw. I connected the battery and adapter and pulled the trigger. Nothing. Wow, not two dead instruments! Dig up an old 18V battery. Both instruments worked like masters. This adapter costs nearly $300 in replacement tools. Buy a real Dewalt if you want to use an adapter. The one I had lasted a few years before disappearing.
