Cheap power tool parts and accessories

This is not what I expected, it looks very strange the way it connects. And I'm not very good at it. I would definitely not buy again. Update, it shorted out and killed a good battery to the point where it even wants to try to pick up a charge. It's useless. Don't waste money

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Frequency

Adapter 18v to 20v: Power & Hand Tools

Did what it is advertised to do. This allows you to use a 20V lithium battery in your 18V tool. This is a huge saving as 18V batteries are almost unavailable and the ones you can find are incredibly expensive. The only issue I had was the fit. Once you connected it to the instrument, it was nearly impossible to get it out again. This made it difficult to use multiple tools.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Updates

I have some older DeWalt tools that used old 18v batteries. When the batteries ran out, I thought about buying new battery packs. This adapter is an inexpensive solution that allows me to continue using my old DeWalt tools with new kits. Everything fits perfectly, and I'm guessing the 20 volt block gives my 18 volt tools a little boost. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Negative experience

Got what I paid for.

I bought this adapter to replace an adapter that one of my co-workers seemed to like better than I did. I thought the price was good, especially with the USB connection. It lasted maybe a month. Went to use my saw and nothing. Okay, checked the button battery indicator. The battery is fully charged. Sawzall's a little knocked out, so let's get out the circular saw. I connected the battery and adapter and pulled the trigger. Nothing. Wow, not two dead instruments! Dig up an old 18V battery. Both

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • A few minor issues

Cheap cost and somewhat cheap production.

I bought this adapter after purchasing a similar Dewalt product. The brand has a couple of plastic tabs that only allow you to use 2Ah batteries but not 5 hour batteries. This adapter fits both. I used it on my first day of owning a saber saw with a 5 amp battery. It worked fine for about 5-10 minutes but failed on a serious cut. Wouldn't give any power at all. There was no smell of burning or external signs of malfunction. I have completed a project using a brand and a 2Ah battery. I later…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Big and chunky
