Review on Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless headphones, black by Tung Duong ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It is of good quality, but I won't buy it again.

Of all the headphones that I listened to before buying, these momentums have the most interesting sound, I liked the stage. In direct comparison with the Sony 1000MX3 and Bose nc700, one feels the depth and volume of the sound, as if at first the music played in the head, and changed to momentums and the sound expanded the boundaries twice. In general, this is where the advantages end) well, I also liked that you don’t need to press anything to turn the headphones on or off - you just unfolded and folded it, similar to the experience with air pods, it’s convenient in general. Everything about the software part is of course a failure. The headphones were bought in August 2022, firmware 4.0.8 and still the native application connects to the headphones every other time. Multipoint seems to be a useful thing - connecting to 2 devices at once, but it works with jambs, the headphones themselves often switch the sound from one device to the second if there is something in the background that reproduces the sound. Well, or you watch a video from a laptop, pick up the phone, unlock it . the video on the laptop paused and I hear the sound of the phone unlocking) Same thing with smart pause. Comfortable, but feels flawed. When turned on, the headphones immediately start playing, but in the latest firmware versions they made it possible to disable auto playback, you can only leave a pause. At the same time, the meaning of the function is lost - he took off the headphones and then only physically you can start playback. Everyone was kicked for low autonomy, but in general it lasts for a couple of days of not too intensive use. I still remember that I put the freshly bought Marshall MID on the first charge a month after the purchase, momentums on the first day) Active noise cancellation seemed average, Bose noise presses better of course, but there are enough momentums for an airplane or subway (only if not old cars and windows are open =) I’m like with them for a couple more months . if the irritation from the messy software outweighs the enjoyment of the sound, I’ll change to Sonya

Pros
  • Sound and quick turn on
Cons
  • Multi-connection, smart pause, little autonomy
