Questionable comfort is good for beds and furniture
Yes, the fabric is soft and luxurious. Yes, the side and center pads are very soft. The edge inside the bed is completely without pillows. This is where most cats will settle. As you can see my cat tried it, then used it as a headrest and finally gave up. She is still young and slender, but the same bed was also rejected by a mature and very fat cat. I love the idea of this bed but I wouldn't buy it again without being able to test the quality.
