Review on High-Resolution Touch Screen Acer T272HL Bmjjz HDMI Monitor – 27 Inch WQHD Display by Glenn Pavone

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bright and sharp. However, there are some issues with setting up dual monitors.

I bought two of these for my home office, installed them on a dual mount and I really like them. I don't use touch as much as I'd like to on Windows, but when I do I love having the option. (How did I get so lazy with a mouse?) The screens are bright, crisp, and huge. They are heavy so ask someone for help when installing them. If you install two of these, the touchscreens will need to be set up with Windows 8 (since you start thinking about which touchscreen USB input corresponds to which monitor). To do this, be sure to start the Tablet PC Setup program in Windows, and then click Setup to set up your displays. in the middle of the screen, which Windows 8 interprets as a steady "right click". Pretty annoying, but can't really blame the monitors just yet. Maybe just Windows or drivers, or who knows. I installed my monitors on a dual mount which is great except the gray stand on the back (which is not used as the monitors are installed) sticks out quite a bit. It cannot be folded. As a result, my desk should be 6 inches from the wall.

Pros
  • electronics
Cons
  • Limited screen customization
