I bought two sets of these locks (2 locks each, 4 locks in total) for a trip abroad. Unfortunately, on the first two days, ALL three locks that I took with me on the trip broke, so I was unable to lock my luggage for most of the trip. Apparently, once you enter the combination and remove the lock from your luggage, you have to be careful not to swing the U-shaped top of the lock to a certain side or past a certain point or it will freeze in place and You cannot force the U-shaped part to return to the bottom lock. As all the locks were new and I was using them for the first time on my trip, it seems like too much of a coincidence that ALL THREE locks failed, leading me to conclude that it is a design flaw. When I got home I tried to return them but I couldn't because the return period had just expired. I contacted the support team which I was happy to deal with. Over the course of several emails they tried to walk me through troubleshooting steps that worked for one lock but not another. I probably won't use the lock again for fear the locks won't work on a future trip - either I can't lock my luggage, or worse, I can't unlock it. I would like to emphasize that the customer service was very quick to respond and very kind which was the only positive thing about the whole thing. However, they can only do so much with bad locks and I spent $30 on 4 lousy locks that don't work. :-(I would not recommend buying these combination locks. It's a waste of money.
