In general, I think this is an excellent lens. This is complete nonsense because even minute chromatic aberrations on open apertures can only be seen when viewed at a very high magnification. The same can be said for some blurriness. A field of view (FR) that is not conventional on a crop sensor is not, of course, a limitation of the lens. If you use the matrix mode on the camera, practically all of your exposure errors will be eliminated by the processor. Focusing issues, which are almost always brought on by the shoddy construction of the camera's screwdriver drive. When viewed via enclosed apertures, it is extremely crisp and even "rings." Complaining about the noise during the focusing process is pointless given that the source of the noise is the camera motor as well as the screwdriver drive. It stands to reason that a more sophisticated camera would have a focus that is both quicker and more precise. PS Until better times come along, it ought not to be thought of as amateur glass for ejection purposes. You are able to fire it, and you should! Best of luck!
