Review on CDN Digital Timer and Clock with Memory Function, 6.8 x 4.5 x 0.9 inches, Cream by Sarah Blough

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I liked it so much that I bought another one!

This is my second CDN timer and I love it. This is my second because the first one couldn't stand bathing in a cat bowl. The problem is not the product but the owner. I've had my first for two years and I love it. It's a timer/counter/clock. When I use it for cooking and baking, it counts down to zero, rings for a minute (and I can hear it 20 feet away in another room), then counts until I turn it off. It has a memory function, so when baking cookies, I set the memory time to 12 minutes and use the memory function every time. I'm happy to announce that you can use the save feature and add minutes. For example, I usually apply it for 15 minutes. If I need 20 minutes, I turn on the memory function and add 5 extra minutes to make 20. I want my microwave to do the same. The countdown timer works like any simple countdown timer. No frills. The small clock function is also good. Also very basic Jane's watch but visible. The entire timer is approximately 2 3/4 inches by 2 inches. It doesn't have a big screen, but it's very visible. I wear glasses and can read text from about 5 feet away. Although the screen isn't backlit, the numbers are high-contrast and easy to read (I have poor eyesight and can read well). It can stand alone, lie down or be attached to a steel surface. I bought a card with 8 batteries from Revain. These are Maxell LR44 A76 batteries 1.5V. In the two years that I had the first timer I only needed one battery. And I often use this little timer. The new one has a slightly different reputation, but I like it. I recommend it to friends and was happy to get a new one myself. I recently bought a $30 Kitchen Aid timer and the only thing I liked about it was that it was red. The flexibility and reliability of this small CDN is second to none.
