Bought this dehumidifier for safety reasons. I've used several dehumidifiers from different companies and most are fine, but they don't last long or require constant connection to electricity or batteries. The benefit of this device that made me want to try it was that it doesn't use batteries, I can take it out and charge it and then put it back in (I haven't had to charge it yet and it's been around for a while). a week), it's safe for pets (important when it's off and charging) and it's no mess.
