As an occupational therapist, I use weighted machines.

As an occupational therapist, I have used weighted blankets on my patients for several years. I find this product well made, not bulky and fits nicely in a tote bag. My teenage son uses it to concentrate while reading and is very successful. My only recommendation for any prospective buyer is to read the instructions for use. For example, approximately 1 pound of weight for every 10 pounds of body weight, so this product may be too heavy for most children. Also, I would make sure to use it at night.
