Review on Watercolor Dream Quilt Set - Greenland Home GL-1408AMSQ, 3-Piece Full/Queen Size, White by Mark Scoggins

I bought this for my granddaughter's bed and absolutely love it! I have to say when I received this duvet I was so excited to take it out and unfold it and see its beauty that I hadn't realized that the clear zipped plastic bag that the duvet came in had 3 slits . There were 2 slits on one side of the bag about 8 inches long (one of which scratched the quilted paper insert), and another about the same size on the other side. I finally noticed the cuts after folding it to put back in the clear ziplock bag. The cuts looked like cuts made with a utility knife. I was so scared the blanket was torn too! I pulled it out and spent about 20-30 minutes going through this quilt inch by inch front and back. I ran my finger in a clockwise/counterclockwise circular motion to capture any cuts I might not have seen. When I finished, my fingertips were numb. I never found any cuts. Thank God! I say yes, I wasn't happy to do it! While I noticed the cuts on the bag before I initially pulled the comforter out, I'd still like to check in case it's a return from someone else. Also, it was packaged with a hard peachy backing that was rolled up on the outside as opposed to the design seen on the outside, which made me think this might be a comeback. I'm so glad it has no cuts. This is a beautiful blanket and I am delighted to be gifting it. I know she will love it! I want to give 5 stars for a great duvet but have to deduct 1 star for what I went through.
